The Morocco Gaming Expo 2025, held in Rabat from July 2 to 6, 2025, established itself as a key milestone in the development of the gaming and esports industry in Morocco. Led by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, this second edition reflects a significant step forward, strengthening the event’s impact both nationally and internationally.

As part of the Morocco Gaming Expo 2025, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication appointed GEEK Maroc as the official esports tournament provider, with full responsibility for the entire competition framework.

 

This mission covered nationwide online qualifiers, digital communication, audiovisual production, as well as the management of on-site Grand Finals.

 

Four major titles were featured in this edition: EA Sports FC 25, Valorant, Free Fire, and Street Fighter 6. With a total prize pool reaching up to 500,000 MAD, the competition brought together the Kingdom’s top talents in a structured, high-level environment aligned with international standards.

  • Over 10,000 players registered nationwide
  • More than 1 million platform visits during the registration phase
  • 4 competitive titles (Free Fire, EA Sports FC 25, Valorant, Street Fighter 6)
  • Nationwide reach, with participants from across the Kingdom

Grand Finale

The Grand Finals of the Morocco Gaming Expo 2025 were held in a venue with a capacity of over 5,000 seats, at the heart of an event that attracted more than 72,000 visitors over five days.

 

The esports program delivered over 50 hours of live show, featuring more than 120 finalist players competing across four titles.

 

The EA Sports FC 25 tournament was a highlight of the event, with the presence of four of the world’s top players: Nicolas99 (world champion), Tekkz (multiple international champion), Bachore (professional player on the European scene), and Umut (club world champion), alongside renowned casters Brandon Smith and Giniro.
