Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 - GEEK Maroc Agency

The Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 (MGEX 2026), held from May 20 to 24, 2026 at the Sofitel Jardin des Roses in Rabat, marked the third edition of Morocco’s flagship gaming and esports event. Organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication (MJCC) under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the event further reinforced Morocco’s ambition to become one of Africa’s leading gaming and digital entertainment hubs.

Centered around the theme « Moroccan Talents », MGEX 2026 brought together Morocco’s gaming ecosystem through esports competitions, conferences, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and innovation showcases.

Appointed by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication as the official esports tournament provider, GEEK Maroc managed the entire competitive ecosystem, including nationwide online qualifiers, tournament operations, event logistics, audiovisual production, live broadcasting, marketing & communication, and the organization of the Grand Finals.

The competition featured EA Sports FC 26, Valorant, and Valorant, with a total prize pool of 300,000 MAD, bringing together Morocco’s top esports players in the country’s biggest gaming event.

Grand Finale

The Grand Finals were held in an international-standard esports arena with a capacity of over 800 spectators, where GEEK Maroc delivered five days of high-level competition and live entertainment.

The event featured a world-class stage production designed to meet international esports standards, providing an immersive experience for both players and spectators.

Over the course of five days, Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 welcomed more than 75,000 visitors, making it one of the largest gaming events ever organized in Morocco. The exhibition also marked a historic milestone with its first-ever official inauguration by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, highlighting the growing strategic importance of Morocco’s gaming and esports industry.
